Product Description
Modified starch is one of starch deep processing products, widely used in paper, food, textile, pharmaceutical, chemical, building materials, casting, petroleum, agriculture and forestry industries. The physical and chemical or enzyme treatment of cassava starch changes the original structure of natural starch molecules, improves its physicochemical properties, expands the application field of products, and greatly increases the value of starch products.
Modified Starch variety and processing technology
The varieties of modified starch can be divided into physical modified, chemical modified and enzymatic modified starch. Chemical modification is divided into wet and dry type. The production technology of TTC Group modified starch mainly includes physical modification and chemical modification.
Processing Technology
Physical modified starch refers to α-starch, which adopts drum drying, extrusion and spray drying technology. Wet chemical modification uses starch suspension mixed with various chemicals and reacts under the conditions of set temperature and pH value to produce various modified starch products. Dry chemical modification is the production of various modified starch products by mixing commercial starch with chemicals under specific temperature conditions.
