Product Description
The Hydro-cyclone Unit is the most important unit equipment in the production line of cassava and other tuber starch products that affects the quality of starch products. It is used for the concentration, washing, and refining of starch milk, and is a key equipment for removing soluble and insoluble proteins, fine fibers, sugars, and salts.
The TTC Group adopts a multi-stage pre juice extraction hydrocyclone and a 12 level or higher high-efficiency juice extraction and refining hydrocyclone to ensure effective separation of protein and fine fibers while controlling overflow and powder loss below 0.3%.
Application
Widely used in the starch industry, it is used to remove and purify starch milk, soluble and insoluble proteins, fine fibers, and sugars. It integrates functions such as starch concentration, recovery, cleaning, and refining.
Features
(1) A single hydrocyclone nozzle is adopted, and the hydrocyclone nozzle is made of nylon certified by the US FDA, which is easy to replace and saves costs.
(2) A self-designed very stable control system ensures higher product quality in production;

(4) Adopting a self-developed closed impeller centrifugal pump, specifically designed and manufactured for tuber starch applications, its output characteristics are stable and its working state is better;

Working principle
A Hydro-cyclone Unit is composed of several stages of hydrocyclones, with a single stage hydrocyclone mainly composed of a hydrocyclone assembly and a starch pump. The hydrocyclone is composed of more than ten to hundreds of hydrocyclone nozzles inside. The hydrocyclone utilizes the principles of fluid mechanics, where starch milk is pumped into the hydrocyclone by a starch pump and rotates at high speed inside the hydrocyclone nozzle. Due to the centrifugal force, lighter materials are discharged through the overflow port, while heavier materials flow out from the bottom flow port along the inner wall of the conical hydrocyclone nozzle under the combined action of centrifugal force and gravity.
